The Hop, Skip & a Jump – 4th Edition
INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION DEVELOPMENT IN JERUSALEM
THE JERUSALEM FILM & TELEVISION FUND
The Jerusalem Film & Television Fund of the Jerusalem Development Authority sets out to
promote two core values in the field of Israeli animation: first, to encourage independent
and professional creation, and second, to promote the animation industry and its members.
The Fund is investing an unprecedented budget in the Israeli animation industry with
the belief that there is a clear economic horizon for its productions. The fund has
established Jerusalem as a center of the animation industry through several stages: setting
up animation studios throughout the city, supporting Israeli animation productions, and
bringing esteemed productions from abroad to carry out work in Jerusalem. The fund
collaborates with schools, institutes and animation artists in Jerusalem to train new artists
and prepare graduates for work in the industry. Those activities have proven that the success of Israeli artists in leading animation companies abroad – in the fields of art, content and technology.
Accordingly, The Jerusalem Film & Television Fund is proud to introduce a unique course for developing and producing original Israeli animation IP in collaboration with the international animation industry. The vision is to creating close working relationships and business partnerships with these companies.
The participants in the “Hop, Skip & a Jump” are professionally accompanied by the finest artists from Israel and abroad, and will benefit personal acquaintance with top decision makers, this year by our great colleagues and supporters;

The event will take place as part of the Jerusalem Film Festival and is open to the general public.
