General Information

Ancient and pastoral neighborhood (except weekends) surrounded by woodland and forest. Only private homes, the upper region (Daphne & Barkali streets) is characterized by newer buildings, in the rest of the neighborhood ancient house are more common. Because of its many churches the neighborhood is a tourist attraction for Christians and others and accordingly there is a concentration of restaurants, galleries, and accommodation (B&B and small hotels).

Underground free public car park. Additional parking on the streets (mostly free) and another free parking lot in front of the supermarket (intersection of Ein Karem / Derech Hailanot)
